The number of 5G users is rapidly increasing

According to Ericsson, there will be more than half a billion 5G subscriptions by the end of 2021.

This is correct; 5G is one of the most powerful networks, the next generation of telecommunication network, or simply 5G.

It all began in the year 2018. In 2018, Verizon was the first business to shock the world by launching a 5G home network. Following that, in 2019, they launched their 5G mobile network. As they began to work on 5G, other countries and businesses began to work on the same thing.

Millions of users are expected to use 5G by the end of 2021, according to predictions. Despite the large number of users, they only utilize 10GB of data per month.

When we compare the speed of 5G to that of 4G, the difference is startling. The 5G network will be 100 times quicker than the current 4G network. The 5G network will be separated into small geographical units called cells in service areas. Radio waves connect all of the gadgets to the Internet and telephone network via the cell's local antenna.

The main benefit of the new networks is that they will have more capacity and lower latency, allowing for faster download speeds of up to 10 gigabits per second.

We can apply this in IoT services since those IoT services need to be able to respond to instructions at a higher and faster pace.
